[blparent] first big car trip with baby

Sure thing Ronit. Happy to help. My son has never been a fan of being in
the car either until he finally falls asleep so I'm so glad his trip went
great as well. The funny thing is by the time I'm done nursing him my left
boob will probably be longer than the right one from nursing Dawson in the
car! LOL

Just so you know another thing that worked around your son's age is simply
putting my clean pinky finger in his mouth when he got fussy. For some
reason this soothed him more than the pacifier at times.

Hi Erin,
Thanks for sharing these tips. We are taking our four-month-old son on a
road trip to Los Angeles frm northern California and are very nervous about
it. He has not been great in the car so far so we are not sure how this
goes. Your tips on nursing while driving were very funny. I sure wish I
could do that but I don't think I could reach. :) I do think I will sit in
back with him most of the time to keep him entertained or hold the pacifier.

Thanks for sharing.
Ronit
