[blparent] measuring liquid meds for baby

Hello list,

 

My poor little guy recently got his first ear infection.  I feel so bad for
him because that is so painful and the terrible stuffy nose and teething on
top of it all just adds insult to injury.  I just wanted to know what tricks
you all might have for measuring the liquid meds just right.  I'd like to
use a syringe since it's easiest for giving to baby because I know if I even
attempted it with a spoon the meds would be lost and on the floor.  Before
my husband leaves for work he's able to premeasure what I need into a small
container that I can then suck up later with a syringe and give to my son,
but do you all know of a resource where I can get syringes in all the
different sizes so I don't need to do anything other than label the syringes
themselves and fill them up when needed?  I haven't done much hunting yet,
but thought I'd throw a line out to the list before I got too deep into
researching.
