[blparent] Question of Interest

Exactly, they continuously do it until they are 12ish I hear. I haven't
heard Gab refer to herself as the baby for some time, but she won't let her
kiddy toys be thrown out either. Some of them she's had since she was very
young. Sarah, is almost an only child and it is common when only one lives
at home. If they have to prove themselves to older siblings, they grow out
of it quicker.

Subject: [blparent] Question of Interest

Hi. I'm not too worried about it, but I'm wondering if any of your toddlers
ever started referring to themselves as "the baby." Most of the time,
Sarah, who is three, is very proud of the fact that she's a big girl. But
then sometimes in the next breath, she'll start referring to herself as "the
baby." She'll want to sit in her high chair again, which we just haven't
gotten around to finding a new home for. But mostly it's just referring to
herself as "the baby"--as in "The baby wants milk."
