[blparent] child smiling

I know that kind of stuff happens to lots of peeps, whether sighted or
blind. I have a friend who had a wild child and everyone told her she was a
bad mom cause she couldn't control her child, then later on she found out
that he was autistic and had an attention disorder. Once he had the right
kind of counseling and medication, he was easy to handle. My friend was
not a bad mom, just a very frustrated one. She did the best she could as a
single parent. V

I'm sorry you believed that you sucked. It's hard enough being a parent and
being concerned about doing the right thing with out that stuff. I had to be
really careful about who and what I took seriously because I have a vendency
to take thing really to heart.
