Hi Chad, 

I have two children and my husband and I are both blind. A mess will occur
with feeding. However, you can cut down on washing clothing if you feed your
baby in their diaper and also the bibs with the pocket also help. I also
used rice cereal to give the food a thicker texture. Though not too thick as
you do not want to choke the baby. Another recommendation is to feed the
baby from behind the chair in order to get more contact with their face and
keep little hands out of the way.
