Hi Jessica. My little guy is 16 months. One thing that might help you keep
up with him when he's crawling is to pin a bell on the back of his shirt
with a diaper pin. Put the bell on a key ring and then, put the key ring on
the pin. I say diaper pins are better for my guy because he has figured out
how to open a regular safety pin. If you put the bell on the back of his
shirt between his shoulder blades, it's very hard for him to reach. Hth

Hi.
So how old is your little boy?  That kind of freaked me out when I saw the
name just because my little boy's name is Michael as well and I was like
wait when did he start walking lol.  anyway, my little one isn't walking yet
but he pulls himself up and stands by holding onto things.  He also crawls
and I have an extremely hard time crawling after him because he's so fast
lol.
Anyway congratulations on the little one taking his first steps.

Hi all!  It's been a while since I posted to the list but guess what has
been taking up all my time?  Michael's walking!  He took his first step
about 2 months ago when he was working with the physical therapist.  It was
only one step but it was on his own.  Then, on the day before Mother's Day,
he took up to 7 steps on his own.  Ever since then, he's been taking more
steps all the time.  Michael was at my parents' house this past weekend and
I've noticed a real boost in his confidence.  He's walking all over the
place now.  I got those squeaker shoes for him and they're helping a lot.
However, they don't make any noise when he's crawling and he still does some
of that too so I still have a bell pinned to the back of his shirt with a
diaper pin.  He doesn't even touch it back there.  He is also saying daddy
now and he said Ma clear as a bell this morning.  He's a happy boy and is
constantly curious about the world around him.  That's all on the update for
now. There will be more to come, I'm sure.

Leslie
