White seems more universal than pink to me.
Besides, with today's technology, can't you just tone down the glare
of the white cane, if you want?
That photographer would have infuriated me. You don't just take
something from me. That was rude.
But, if you are self conscious, you could decide yourself to either
leave it behind you or fold it up or put it in a holder, or something
to make it look less obvious.
Amazingly, everyone almost always wants a dog in the picture: even
though dog hair can get on all sorts of outfits.
Isn't it interesting: photographers like to bring props to pose with
you or children to make it look like you are either doing something or
somewhere that you are not; yet, some have such an aversion to the
cane which is not a prop, but a reality.
