Bid for Excellence

Help Blind Parents and Parents of Blind Children

Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on the blessings we enjoy and to focus
on what is most important to us-friends and family. This year, Mary Jo and
Jesse have a wonderful new blessing to be thankful for
<http://testnfb.org/sites/all/modules/civicrm/extern/url.php?u=657&qid=43403>
 -the arrival of their first child, Kayla! As blind parents, they have
found the support of the National Federation of the Blind (NFB) to be
invaluable as they face the challenges of parenthood. They want the same
things for Kayla as all parents do-a bright future and an opportunity to
succeed. The NFB provides tools and resources
<http://testnfb.org/sites/all/modules/civicrm/extern/url.php?u=658&qid=43403>
  that help build confidence and excellence in their parenting skills.
You can support the programs that help blind parents and parents of blind
children
<http://testnfb.org/sites/all/modules/civicrm/extern/url.php?u=659&qid=43403>
  by participating in the Bid for Excellence!

Bid for Excellence is an exciting opportunity to raise funds to support
the work of the NFB. We provide programs, encouragement, and opportunities
that help blind people all over the nation achieve excellence in their
education, employment, and all aspects of their lives.

You can help the NFB continue our education and training programs by
making Bid for Excellence a success! Visit
<http://testnfb.org/sites/all/modules/civicrm/extern/url.php?u=660&qid=43403>
 www.nfb.org/bid to view items available for auction now and to preview
upcoming items. All proceeds from your winning bid will support the work
of the NFB! Bid for Excellence runs through December 5, 2011, so
individual auctions will begin throughout the five weeks of Bid for
Excellence. New items will be added to the auction, so check back often to
see what is new.
