[blparent] Halloween

We've had a busy halloween weekend already. We went to a small trunk or 
treat and then participated in a halloween parade Saturday night. Sunday the 
kids had a true meaning of halloween party during religious education class 
at church. Then that evening we went to the Fraternal order of Eagles annual 
halloween party and haunted house put on for the children. I got to work the 
musical chairs game while Savannah played games and went through the haunted 
house. She didn't care for it but my older sister enjoyed scaring her.
Tonight I will take Savannah trick or treating around our small town, 
hitting the nursing home, family and a few close friends of the family. She 
already has a fair amount of candy and it's already been hell dealing with 
the constant I want candy.
Savannah is a pink crayon for halloween. I made her costume by hand sewing 
it all. It was a lot of fun to make and I was slightly bummed that she 
didn't win a prize at the parade mainly because normal ordinary witches won 
again this year instead of the creative costumes.
That pretty much covers our halloween this year. I'll get up tomorrow to 
continue the planning for Savannah's 3rd birthday in less than 3 weeks now.
