[blparent] travelling with a child?

I traveled one time with Gab in an airplane, but we only had her in our lap
as if we had put her in a seat, we would have had to purchase another
ticket.  What does the bus company require?

When on the bus, etc, what is the best method for travelling with your
little one, especially if he or she is an infant? Since I'm mostly in a
wheelchair, I figured my husband would put him or her next to him in a seat
in  a carseat. But is this the right way to do it?
