[blparent] inflatable tub bumpers

How can bouncing on one's heels be a hazard? If that's the case, then the
involuntary shaking and bouncing of my legs would be a real hazard, since my
legs don't go anywhere!
There is a fine line between keeping them safe and sheltering/helpicopter
parenting. I'm taking a leaf out of my cousin's book. He can play outside,
climb trees, etc. Scraping his knees or elbows isn't something bad, it's
part of life. She would never let him get seriously hurt, i.e broken bone,
or would never let him eat dog poopie he found on the ground, of course. But
she would let him be a child. She put white wallpaper up in his room, and
gave him a box of 128 crayons, and told him he could decorate it however he
wanted. So he did some of the nicest abstract colouring. However, he knows
that he is not allowed to do that in the rest of the house, and abides by
that law.
