I got this same statement from my doctor.

I told him she got the rug burn because she was trying to stand up on a rocking chair for the hundredth time after we'd reminded her that chairs are for sitting in, and she fell face first on the carpet. The doctor said if he saw a child who came in with no bumps or bruises, he would worry that the kid wasn't active enough, and maybe that he or she sat on the couch and watched too much TV at a young age.

> Jo Elizabeth I agree with you completely on this one. When mark was four or five the kids were playing outside with there uncle and he swung mark around and his elbow popped out of position. We took him to the emergency room and at least six people wanted to know what happened. We were questioned mnark was questioned and my sister that took us to the hospital was also questioned. I hafvve no idea what would have happened if my husband and I had taken him in alone.Sometimes you have no idea where a bruise on a young child comes from.
