[blparent] Snugglies?

Hi Jodie:

If you go to Walmart, they should have them. They vary in the weight of the
child. They have ones for smaller infants and they also have ones that go
up to 40 pounds. The one I have, you can carry the baby on your back or on
your stomach, whichever is easiest for you. I carry her on my stomach
because it is easier for me to put her into it in the front than to have to
put her on my back. What I do is I put her on the bed or couch and I get on
my knees in fron of her so she doesn't fall off the bed, and then what I do
is pull her gently by her legs and put them in first.

Her legs should go on either side, one in the left side, and on on the right
side of you. You put them through on each side so that when you put your
hand behind her back, you can lift up with her and carefully slide the rest
of her body into it. She will be in a sitting position facing you while
being strapped to you. There is an extra strap that you click into place
around your waist while you have 2 straps like a bookbag on your shoulders.

It's almost as if she is sitting the opisite direction looking at you as she
is strapped to you and her feet would be dangling on either side of you in
the pouch. She has freedom with her arms and can still look around but her
body will be comfortably inside the backpack. I hope I'm not confusing you
lol.

Agnes.
