[blparent] Christmas tree

Hi V. I decided that our tree was missing something, the garland. So we
bought thirty feet of pretty silver garland. I was trying to wrap it around
the tree and was laughing so hard at myself I almost couldn't handle it! Our
tree was given to us from my husband's brother a couple of years ago as sort
of a house warming present. It's huge! So first, I was standing on the step
stool to start at the top. Then kept moving the step stool around the tree
while trying to keep this long garland wrapped around my other hand. Well,
the garland got caught on a branch while I was trying to move around, then I
dropped what was in my other hand when I went to move the step stool yet
again. Carl, my husband, was hanging lights out front. so when he came in,
he promptly took over the garland wrapping. I just can't imagine me, trying
to wrap a strand of lights around a tree! Thank goodness for prelit trees
these days. Smile.

Jeri

It depends on the size, I bought mine last year after Christmas for about
$25. If you already have one without light. Roll the strands of lights
around your arm and with the end start draping it over the branches until
you reach the bottom of the tree. Make sure you have a plug at the top and
one at the bottom.
The one at the top so you can plug in a star and one at the bottom so you
can plug in an extention cord to the wall.
