There's also the one on www.travelingwithkids.com called the o'pair harness.
Parent wears a basic black fanny pack that has a five-foot retractable line
on it that attaches to a smaller fanny pack that child wears around his/her
waist. You can choose from different options, but the one I got for Gabbie
is a bear's head. You can't fit very much into it, but it's cute and it
works! :D
We still use it sometimes, even now that she's 4 years old.

The nice thing about the monkey harness also is that it had just a plain
plastic loop for the hook, so as Sarah got older and wanting more room to
run, but not old enough yet to come back when called, I attached a
retractible leash.  She didn t get tangled up in the leash because it was
retractible, but she could run in an open space like a hallway.
