Dear Seana,

Perhaps the school can recommend someone to help your child with homework. 
Often older students perform a community service by tutoring younger kids. 
A neighbor or someone in your church might also be possibilities.  Regarding 
the vision loss from your RP, can you get some training in nonvisual skills 
for cooking, cleaning, childcare, etc.?
