Erin,

Congrats to your family. I grew up in Oceanside which is about a 45
minute drive north of sD. I visit SD often since my parents are still
there.

What area of SD will you be living in?

My husband and I spent an evening in the Gas Lamp district over the
holidays and I noticed a lot of changes in SD since I left 13 years
ago. If you are in downtown SD, public transportation is pretty good.
The further away you are, the less frequent the transit.

Anyhow, I'm sure you will find plenty of opportunities for fresh air.
And who knows, maybe the next time I'm visiting my parental units
Dawson and Erik can have a playdate.
