This is exactly what we do for Austin.  We look at reviews of the apps,
and/or get reccommendations from family or friends about what their kids
like, then basically let Austin go at it without voice over on.  He just
turned five, and has been playing on and off with apps probably for the past
year or so with no problem.  There are some great story books that read and
make sounds, and tons of fun games out there.  We figure as long as we know
what he is playing (which we do because we are the ones who have to install
each app) then accessibility for us is not that important.

Fisher-price may be helpful. One thing I have done is to turn VoiceOver off
after opening the app, and I just tap around on the app.

Hey Y'all,
I recently got an IPhone. While I won't go into details about not really
liking it, one good thing is that I've been able to download aps for
Savannah. 
I have a pretty busy day of doctor appointments coming up this Thursday and
want to cut back on the amount of things I have to carry with me. 
I'm looking for good aps for preschool aged and kindergarten. I've
downloaded a few things without success of accessibility. Any suggestions
would be greatly appreciated.
