[blparent] traveling with infant

Would you consider a manual pump? I know they can be time-consuming,
but I got a Lansinoh (sp?) manual pump that works better than my
battery-operated pump. I got it on Amazon. It is very effective. I
also tried the Medela Harmony manual pump, but that one did not work
as well for me. The Lansinoh comes with a soft cover-thing (how's that
for a technical term) that goes over the flange, and this really feels
similar to a baby (at least, to me). I think this is why it worked so
well for me. Because it was so efficient, I was able to get more milk
faster than I could with my battery-powerde Ameda Purely Yours. (I do
have a hospital-grade pump that I use at work which is superior to the
Lansinoh, but that one is certainly not portable.)

Good luck,

Angie
