Ooooh I forgot to mention a few things:
I found the book on NLS. It's pretty cool. The one thing I took away from
the book is, "don't feel guilty for any of the decisions you make." every
baby is different and every mom is different.
anyhow, about the toothbrushes...I tried the finger brush and brushed Erik's
four little teeth. It was so funny to see his reaction to this brissily
thing in his mouth. I was provided toothpaste by the children's dentist but
I stuck with just water and the toothbrush for now. I was introducing it for
the first time and I didn't want to add bubblegum flavored toothpaste to the
mix.
I felt like I didn't know if I was really scrubbing his teeth or his gums
because the finger brush is rubbery and hard to feel through.
I'll let you know how the scissor-like toothbrush goes when I try it.
