[blparent] girl scout leaders?

The way it works here anyway, the girls get 55 cents for every box of
cookies they sell.  That money is put onto a plastic card that resembles a
credit card and they can take that card and spend it at the girl scout
store.  An additional 19 cents a box is given to the troop so they can  do
activities together.  Where the rest goes, I don't have a clue.

I read somewhere that the money raised from Girl Scouts selling cookies is
just about enough each year to ensure every girl and leader on their trips
and activities.
