Hi Marsha,

I am not blind, but originally joined this list because I was starting the
process of looking for a blind child to welcome in to our family, something
I still hope to do one day and have enjoyed learning everything I can from
this list.

I have been a surrogate three times, starting in 2001, something that has
brought great joy to my life, my childrens life, as well as the life of the
families I have helped. Of course there have been bumps along the way, but
for something so emotional as surrogacy I can only suspect it's the same
for both the surrogate as well as the parents to be as well.

Please feel free to contact me off list if you would like, and I can help
guide in you in whatever way may be most helpful to you and answer whatever
questions you may have. I am thankful surrogacy is an option for hopeful
parents to consider, but just as with adoption there are many red flags to
watch out for in the surrogate world. Continue to search all options that
feel right to you, and follow your heart.

Good luck,
Susan
