Ok, you can say it 1 million times and still, they don't really listen.
This was completely my fault. Gab and I were sitting on the sofa this
afternoon and the telephone was ringing in the kitchen. Gab told me, mommy
go answer the phone. I was in the middle of typing something and I said,
you go answer it, quickly. So she popped off the couch and with 3 giant
strides forward, she crashed into the edge of the humidifier, bounced her
head off the wall and our precious bird clock that was left to us from my
mother, came crashing to the floor.
I threw my keyboard and flew to her side as did my husband who had been in
our computer room. Gab was crying hysterically, screaming that grandma's
clock was ruined. It was, but I was not concerned at all about the clock but
my husterical daughter. I was almost in tears as it was me who said
quickly. She cut the top of 2 toes. Bandaids came to the rescue. But you
know, I was terrified when I heard the bang and crash of breaking glass in
the livingroom, just a few feet from where I sat.

Dad is trying to put the clock back together and Gab pulled herself back
together and went to her last girl scout event with a very very sore foot.
So dad said many many times,
, "no running in the house."
