Absolutely. If someone has a religious/moral objection to helping me
find certain items, I can respect them if they make this known to me
truthfully. I hope they can then respect me for choosing to have
someone else help me, assuming such help is available. (And in just
about every case, I can, if nothing else, ask a store employee to help
me find particular items.) I cannot respect someone who would lie
about the availability of the items I was looking for. I'm pretty sure
that lying is frowned upon by LDS adherents.
