[blparent] Talking about Death with a Preschooler

V.you don't always know how children will react to the death of someone they care about. When my dad passed away people in the family told the kids at different times. We told Mark that Grandpa was sick and that he might die because he already knew something was wrong. I think for us it was better to handle it that way. My sister told her children jusst a couple of days before his passing that It was going to happen. In a sense it is a little easier with an expected death. I know that we just had to be there and pay attention to what the kids needed at the time.
