I wish to request that we all be more careful about the generalizations and
assumptions we make on this list. This is not in response to any one
message, but some of you have skated right up to the edge of calling me a
bad mother and it is hard to not jump in the middle of that. My children are
bright and wonderful people. 2 of the 3 of them have severe ADHD and are on
meds for it. We have been to specialist and participated in all kinds of
evaluations and testing. They have to have an education and need to be
medicated to function in that environment. Yes, there were other choices we
might have made, but we had a lot to weigh into that decision and it was
more than just about one of them being a little difficult to handle. I am
asking that we try not to be so judgmental of other peoples choices and
situations.

What I understand, drugs like methylphenyldate, etc, are literally 
methamphetamines. how in the name of $deity they're allowed for use on 
children is eyond me but somehow they are.
Weed? I doubt. Coke? Not too likely. But meth, oh ye. Go read the monographs

on medlineplus for adderol, methyylfphenyldate, etc.

dude serious? Coke and Weed in these mental pills? Sign me up! lol! :-) No, 
seriously. What are you talking about. since I am not one to dismiss your 
claim all I ask is that you give me a link or two to read about this new 
finding. its hard to understand that if Coke and Weed are illegal in smoking

or powder/packed forms how they would then permit it in drugs for use in our

children?
