I, personally, don't try to judge. I simply feel that there are other 
options that should be tried, since you have tried them and the med work, 
more poewr to you. I just read up on everything a doctor would prescribe my 
child, ask every why and wherefore and where are the non-manufacturer 
studies supporting this, and also would try a combo of things. But I would 
also hope you were told that they're not for long-term use. I wwasn't, for 
example, told that flexeril cyclobenzaprine wasn't for long-term use. I was 
on it for nearlyyyyyy a year.
