[blparent] Let's move on

I also agree that buying a house as a blind individual is as important as
buying a stroller or a wagon. The title of this list is blind parents, is
it not. And I know for a fact, that the conversations on this list have gone
awry now and then, not because the moderator isn't doing her job, but
because we all want to fource our opinions at any cost. I am guilty, Kate
is guilty, Rebeccah, Jo Elizabeth, tammy and even Gabe. We're just mom's
and dad's that have something to say. We all were involved in green
household cleaners and I didn't see any of us say, this is off topic,
because it has to do with taking care of our little ones..
And how long has this list been around? I don't know, but I am glad it
exists.
You guys can leave, but Iam staying. V

I won't say anything else about the subject, but I respectfully disagree.
The question of buying a house is very much on topic as an issue to blind
parents because there are considerations that are helpful to take into
account from the perspective of a blind person. I tried to give pertinent
information since I went through the process of buying a home four and a
half years ago, with all of its strong points and drawbacks. Jan, I would
be glad to talk to you further if you wish to contact me off list at
jopinto at msn.com. I'm sorry that a valuable discussion such as this one is
having to go private because those who aren't interested in it refuse to
just delete the messages that don't matter to them and move on.
