The kid needs to be on a leash. Freedom is earned not given, looks like he just lost his.
Not sure how doable it is to not take him out when he's tired, sometimes you just have to go out with the little monster.
Three-year-olds can test boundaries in ways two-year-olds have never dreamed of. I say this because past performance means nothing.
He needs to be on a leash.

Subject: [blparent] wandering 3 year old

So Myles took off on us last night and ran across the road and into a
field. John my hubby was out with him and is totally blind, normally he is
good but, this one time he decided he didn't want to do what he was told.
he's quiet so John had a hard time finding him and by the time he caught up
Myles was coming back home. really scary. What could we attach to him so he
can be heard. We gave him a really good talking to about the dangers of
doing such a thing, but, he's 3 and somewhat hyper especially if he's tired
which he was. He have already decided he's not allowed out if he's tired
since he doesn't listen to us when he is. I'm still waiting for my sore eye
to be removed so a little slow on the draw when it comes to chasing a kid.
Oh yeah any ideas what I can take for allergies instead of claritin since
the eye drops I'm on the doc said to stay from antihistimines but, without
them I'm in more pain than with them. I'm on travatan. I tried netti pot
but, that doesn't stop the constant gush of water in my eye on high allergy
days. I resorted to wearing sunglasses with one lens popped out to use to
computer and in buildings. Can't wear a patch anymore because it sits too
close to my eye. It's been since Nov and I still don't have a surgury date.
I did have an untrasound though and there is no tumor. Since John is with
Myles most of the time we need to find a way to keep track of Myles and
can't get a fence since we rent. any ideas?
