Please remember that some people get the digest mode.
So, if  moderator asks to stop a thread, the request might be in a
digest that has not yet been delivered or viewed. thus, someone might
be responding to earlier messages and while a person in regular mail
mode has seen the moderator's warnings, the person reading the digest
has yet to do so.
this might be some of the reason for the continuation of topics that
the moderator has deemed unworthy of this list.
Topic continuation might have **nothing to do with flagrant disrespect.
