Well, This will be my last message on the topic, since I do recognize
it's off-topic.
However, since you asked me what my point was, I'll be kind enough to
explain it to you.
First of all, I've been on this list long enough to know that almost
all of your messages have some type of grammatical or spelling error.
and while this is not a spelling contest, it's also not a bullying
contest. Yet you make up the bulk of the negative criticism that goes
on here, and you're also the one who writes the sloppiest. Perhaps if
you took care to write your messages a little more neatly, we'd take
your oppinions and your criticisms with a little more gratitude. It's
very similar to appearance, gabe. If you're going to tell someone off
in a public setting, are you going to do it while wearing a tattered t
shirt and a pair of old jeans, with greasy hair, or are you going to
put on your overly expensive suit and clean up a little. If you appear
intelligent and put-together, your oppinions might have more merit,
even if they're frankly unpleasant and disagreeable. So my point, if
you still haven't gotten the jist of it, is that people will generally
tollerate a smart ass over someone who's just an ass.
And to take it a little further, you keep hurling insults at certain
people on here, such as jo elizabeth, yet her messages, no matter what
they are about, are always thought out, very articulate, and just
pleasant to read. See the difference here? Now, you can respond, but
you can also choose not to bother, because as I said, this is my last
message on this topic. I didnt' compose it to be rude, exactly, I just
thought it might be a piece of helpful advice. I'm a college graduate
with a couple of writing and English degrees, so I pay attention to
these things. Maybe it doesn't make any difference to you, but it's all
about appearance, isn't it, gabe? You should know since you're always
saying that, in one way or another.
Respectfully submitted,
Bernadetta
