Hello, Erin.

Concerning my kids:

My three-year-old is a very energetic little boy. He is very loving and
has a good heart. He is also at a stage where he is very explorative and
he does not typically do as he is asked to (e.g. stop when he is asked
to, pick up toys from the floor, etc). He has gotten a lot better about
this over the past few months, though. His name is Robert but he has
always been referred to by his nitials: R.J.

R.J.'s younger brother Adam (now six months old) is a very loving and
affectionate boy. He is now at the stage where he is nearly ready to
crawl. He is, for the most part, able to sit up on his own.

Both of my boys are very observant. Neither of them have any visual
disabilities. They are both perfectly healthy and very happy boys,
although we have been dealing with a bad case of dry eczema with Adam
for the past month or so. We have been treating his skin with a
prescribed lotion.

I will save this for another thread, but one concern which I have had is
that R.J. seems to be fully aware of my blindness. It seems that he
knows that I cannot see him, and he knows how to not be found if I am
looking for him. He is a very smart little boy, and I want to teach him
that it is not good to hide unless we are playing. I actually received
some very helpful tips about this particular situation earlier this
week. As I stated, though, I will save this for another thread.

If there is anything else which you would like to know about my kids,
please feel free to ask.

Thank you for the kind welcome, Erin.

Take care.
