Hello Bob,

I'd like to warmly welcome you to this list. I think that you'll find many
helpful tips on this list and support for any of those many stages of
parenting. Please feel free to ask whatever is on your mind related to
blind parenting and we look forward to getting to know you more through the
list. Six months and 3 years are really fun ages. Please share more about
your munchkins when you get a second. It's not only nice to have a new
person on this list but especially a new man since daddy's perspective is so
valuable and important for getting the full spectrum of thoughts and ideas.

My name is Erin and my husband David and I live in San Diego with our nearly
23 month-old son Dawson. I am also a guide dog user of a male black
Labrador named Provo. My husband David works for the VA as a Blind
Rehabilitation Outpatient Specialist and I am now a happy stay at home mom
with some private dog training on the side.

Welcome again and we look forward to getting to know you more.

Erin

Hello, everyone.

My name is Robert Cole; please feel free to simply call me Bob. I was
informed about this mailing list earlier today and so I immediately joined
as I really needed to find people who I could relate to.

I am a 28-year-old blind father of two precious little boys aged six months
and three years. I love my boys dearly, and I want to be the best father
that I can be to them. My eye condition is called microphthalmia; this
basically means that I have small eyeballs. I have absolutely no sight in my
left eye and a very small amount of sight (20/2000) in my right eye.

Thanks for providing this list. I sincerely look forward to the advice and
tips which I know I will find here, and I hope that I can be of help to
others as well.

Kind regards,

Bob
