[blparent] Writers

Honestly, I have had an eight year writer's block.

Sadly, I went through a stage in my life in which I felt absolutely
worthless. After that stage passed, I found it extremely difficult to
sit down and write as I used to be able to. I have shared my writing
with very, very few people (less than five individuals) because I was
afraid that they would feel the same way about it as I did. Not to get
into too much detail about it, but I came from a pretty broken home, and
because I was the only blind child I faced a lot of adversities
including but not limited to being beat up on and harassed by both my
siblings and their friends. Needless to say, I went through a lot of
emotions for a long time in my life. If not for my grandmother I would
have probably lost my mind. My grandmother passed away almost 12 years
ago, but I use her as my example for leading and raising my children, as
well as what I glean from reading the Bible.

Even if my novel is never published, I want to finish the story which I
started back in 2004. I know that if I do not finish it it will haunt
me, as crazy as it may sound.
