[blparent] Long overdue update and request for help?

Dave,
Thank you and others for your kinds words and support. I don't mind 
explaining why I've made the choices I have for Savannah and myself, but 
it is nice not to have to for all. :)
I'm nervous about attending CCB but also feel that it will be the best 
thing for myself and Savannah.
