Actually, you shouldn't use fabric softener with any baby clothes--whether diapers or others. I use only baby deatergent either in liquid or powder form, no diryer sheets, no fabric softener. I do use baby-approved oxyclean for the tough formula or poopy stains. Works wonderfully. Bernadetta
