Yeah, when gab was born, almost 13 years ago, our Dr also said that the
thermometers under the arm were the best.  Rectal thermometers aren't always
safe. Especially when the baby is squirming and the fact that I can't see, I
didn't want to rip any soft tissue.

Hi Tatiyan,
Most doctors now of days say just to use a regular themometer placed under
the baby's arm. And, if you take any parenting classes that is the way they
teach you how to do it as well.
