[blparent] My story and request for help

Hi,

I think alot of times it's not what you say but the way you say it, or the
way it comes across. It just seems so judgmental and thoughtless, and aimed
to hurt rather than help. When we as parents right to this list there are
times when we're just writing to say hey great look what my child did, but
sometimes we need help, and hearing well you should have done this or
something similar is not helpful.

hth

why is it every time I contribute a less than agreeable statement I get the
wrath of the women on this list. but the first time I mention doing anything
with my kids or about my kids as a single father, I get vilified do to your
apparent perception of me wanting as it was once said "A father of the year
award".
