The straps are on the carseat, they are what you'd use to buckle the baby in. Just put it over your arm like a purse.

Hi. We did an Amazon search for the Alpha Omega, but didn't see
anything in the description about a strap, unless the strap was in the
picture and we didn't see it, or do we have to buy the strap separately?
