Hello List,

 

Hope you all had the best Christmas ever this year.

 

Our 2 year old son Dawson had a blast this year and loved every single
aspect of Christmas, from getting to meet and sit on Santa's lap, to
shopping for a real tree, to singing happy birthday to Jesus on Christmas
morning.  We did a lot of our shopping for Dawson on-line this year which
made it easier in a lot of ways.  It was such a treat to see how Dawson
lit-up as he unveiled his play kitchen and circus tent from Ikea and his
Kozy Coupe, dinosaur flash-light, Mickey Mouse shape sorter and Magic Moves
Wand were amongst some of his favorites.  I have to tell you that wand was
especially a great find as it's a unisex play wand that has 90 phrases and
several musical tunes.  The phrases tell the child to do some specific act
like, "Creep like a cat" or ""soar like an eagle" and the child acts out
those behaviors as the wand plays music for about 10 seconds or so.  It's an
awesome way for kids to exercise while stimulating their creativity and
imaginative play.  I found that toy on Amazon.  I also got Dawson a Melisa
and Doug Latches Board that he loves and it's a great way for tots to work
on their fine motor skills while playing.
