Mom/Nurse Invents New Educational Toy to Teach Kids Time and Patience -- And to Give Parents a Brief Moment of Personal Time

Trumbull, CT -- Jan 30, 2013 / (http://www.myprgenie.com) -- Karen Barski, mom of five, 19-year nurse, parenting consultant, and inventor of the popular Woombie baby swaddle, launched a new educational toy that will teach children the concept of time and patience in a fun, natural way and is an effective tool for mommy or daddy to get a few minutes of personal time without being interrupted. Bonus features on the doll teach k ids how to tie laces, button, snap, zip, and Velcro while they are waiting. The Time IN Dolls work wonders with Karen's kids and now she is introducing it to the world to help other families.

Karen's kids were always questioning time, and let's face it, time is difficult to explain and understand. As parents we say things like "We will leave when the TV show is over in 10 minutes," and more often than not, time is associated with "time outs" which is a negative way to teach time, so Karen thought of a new, fun and positive way to teach time using a Time IN Doll.

Sharing her own success with this new parenting method, Karen Barski said, "I used the Time IN Doll to give me, mom, a five minute break when I needed a few minutes to catch up. I proclaimed to my kids, 'I need five minutes - please be patient and when the timer rings you will have my full attention.' Funny thing was - it worked!"

The Time IN Doll collection currently has two dolls: MommyTime Doll and DaddyTime Doll. Each doll has a cute, hip design with a built in 15-minute timer. Karen implemented simple skills into the doll to be more creative and fun so kids can practice how to tie laces, button, zip, snap and Velcro while waiting. Also, new dolls are being designed to incorporate different cultures and ethnic backgrounds!
