>From what I remember when reading about child development, not having bathroom patterns down by four years of age for a boy is not
unheard of. If it hasn't been done already, it might be worth checking with a toctor to be sure that he is able to sense the need
or if there is any weakness in muscles that control it. If there are no issues or other developmental considerations, some have
achieved success by simply stopping with the diapers so the child has to confront the issue. Obviously, this can be a drag for
the parent and it isn't something I ever did.
This isn't something we know any more or less about as blind parents than do other parents, though. You really should talk with
your child's doctor to be sure there are no other problems that could make all this more difficult for him and get recommendations
there.

children? We teach them that two and two make four, and that Paris is the capital of France. When will we also teach them what
they are? We should say to each of them: Do you know what you are? You are a marvel. You are unique. In all the years that have
passed, there has never been another child like you. Your legs, your arms, your clever fingers, the way you move. You may become a
Shakespeare, a Michelangelo, a Beethoven. You have the capacity for anything. Yes, you are a marvel. And when you grow up, can you
then harm another who is, like you, a marvel? You must work, we must all work, to make the world worthy of its children." ~ Pablo
