Kids: Emotional Nourishment Eating dinner as a family is good for children's
mental health. In a study of more than 26,000 kids between the ages of 11
and 15, researchers learned that the more often kids ate dinner with their
families, the less likely they were to have emotional or behavioral
problems. Plus, frequent family meals upped kids' emotional well-being and
satisfaction with life and made them more helpful toward others. Source:
