So true! I'm on the hunt. If any of you know of any vacs with bags that
contain this feature, please let me know.
Thanks,
Erin

Erin, try to find one that the stuff does not pass through the motor or
across the belt. That was the reason I changed. I just couldn't afford to
buy a new one each time I melted the belt. (lol)

I know that some love bagless vacuums but I tell you after having one for
the past 2.5 years I'm done and going back to the bag vacs. I am so
grossed-out and tired of having to reach into the canister to pull hair and
junk out that won't fall out when I open it over the garbage. Also, there
is a lot of dust and junk that gets back into the air when the canister is
opened and I end-up coughing. I'm currently researching bag vacuums that
will be best for us and I can't wait to get back to just grabbing the bag
when it's full and tossing the sucker into the garbage. GRIN
Erin

Well, yes and no. We used to have a Eureka vacuum and honestly, it had this
stupid bag and I accidently sucked up a tiny sock and it went right up into
the motor and melted the belt and it all over heated and well, that's how we
ended up with the Dyson. I don't want to take the chance again that
anything will melt the belt or burn ou the motor. hahaha
