Hmmm, lots to think about. The ipad does seem to be affective for him. He
is a tempermental kid but, generally doesn't throw his toys and things. He
more likely with take swings at whatever is infront of him and scream to
the high heavens. and lay on the floor and beat his forehead off it.
getting a bit better at the last one. I like the idea of a family ipad it
kind of makes it seem more practical. He has an app with a language
theripist in may which will hopefully clarify a few things. with home
schooling the ipad would certainly help especially when traveling. Besides
lets face it gives mommy an excuse to buy one. LOL I understand the opinion
about not having one for kids and frankly I struggled with that one too
but, we live in a world of technology and it's ingrained in kids
everywhere. I would be afraid to let him have one unsupervised but he is
good with his portable DVD player and has had it for months. The survivor
case was the one I was thinking as well, seems the most practical. I didn't
know blind users could use them. is that really possible. Myles is sighted
but, hubby is totally blind and I am mostly. I'm nervous about refurbished
simply because of the warrenty. if I buy new at least if it's defective
I'll have a warrenty.
