[blparent] Halloween.

The weather is in the sixties here. A little windy, but quite nice. My
stepson is going to take my daughter trick-or-treating. I don't like them
to go out alone, so their dad will be nearby in the car to watch them on
each street. I'll stay home and pass out candy, though we don't get many
kids here because most of them go to the subdivisions with bigger houses and
better treats. My daughter has a purple pegasus costume, and her brother
has a green ghost mask. Personally, I like Halloween, the good clean fun
part with kids dressing up and going around the neighborhood to get free
candy.

Truth is tough. It will not break, like a bubble, at a touch; nay, you may
kick it about all day like a football, and it will be round and full at
evening.--Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr.

It's raining cats and dogs here. So I don't know how many will be out. My
boys are old enough to go without a parent. But they have to stay together.

I also don't like this holiday...if that's what you want to call it. I also
hand out treats to the kiddos that come to the house.
