[blparent] How are your guide dogs life savers?

Just today my guide jumped in between my son and an aggressive dog.  This is
in no way something he's trained to do but when trouble arises, instincts
kick-in and there my four legged kid is looking after the family.

Thankfully, nothing happened with that aggressive dog today and it's not the
first time he's had to do this either I hate to say.  My guides have done
amazing things beyond expectations that I thank God for every day.  Just a
few such things include but are not limited to: being alert to my son
waking-up and coming to get me before he even makes a peep, acting as a
brace for my son when he was learning how to walk and walking slower when I
am wearing my son on my front in a carrier.  This is all in addition to his
stellar guide work that protects us every day and gets us to where we're
going fluidly.
