[blparent] squeaky baby company

Good point about the sensation. I didn't think about it, but part of how a
baby learns to crawl, I expect, is the feel and the grip of its knees on the
floor. The knee pads would change that. They had come out with crawling
"safety helmets" for a while to keep the babies from hitting their heads,
and I noticed those didn't last long as a fad because they made the poor
little kids top heavy so they fell over on their as they tried to scoot
along. Babies have been crawling and surviving for millennia.

I love squeaky shoes, and they can be bought on several sites, but I think
squeaky knee pads are not necessary and take some of the sensation out of
crawling. Really a crawling baby is hard to miss.

Never heard of those, but there have been squeaky shoes on the market for
years. I didn't use them, but lots of people have with great success. I
went the cheaper route and just put a box of Tic-Tacs in her pocket or
attached a bell to her belt loop.

Hi all, has anyone used the products called squeaky baby knee pads? They are
knee pads a baby can wear while crawling that squeak when they move.
This company was on the sharks about a month ago. The Sharks didn't much
think of the idea but I thought it might be good because we have hard floors
throughout most of our house and I could hear the baby squeaking as she
crawls. If anyone is interested, here is the web page:

Thanks for any thoughts.

Tara
