[blparent] homework strategies

When my daughter gets stuck on a letter, I show her a model either on my
Iphone or the computer.
You'll know if the teacher can't make heads or tails of the handwriting and
if you don't, ask.
My daughter's handwriting is good. Her spelling sucks. She does fine on big
words, but not so well on little ones. She spelled "anaconda" correctly but
misspelled "fun". I'm not a teacher so I totally missed it, I was all
impressed that she spelled such a long word correctly, and the teacher had
to point out to me (and presumably she did the same for her) that the little
words matter too.

handwriting was something that neither my husband or I could help with.
Maybe there is a way to do that now but I have no idea whhat it would be.
