My daughter asked me that once about the mouse and why I don't use it, and I
told her that I was afraid of mice.

My kids can understand Eloquence and VoiceOver, 12 and 10 years old, they
have been around them all their lives. When my daughter was about 7 or 8
she was watching me compute once, and said "you know dad, you don't use the
mouse much." They have learned to do so, and sometimes it is challenging to
convey a task to them, only using the keyboard.
